I understand that Pont-y-Pair means Bridge of the Cauldron and the hotel is situated in the very heart of Betws-y-Coed right opposite the bridge that goes over the River Llugwy. It's position is perfect for exploring Snowdonia including the famous Swallow Falls - just up...More

Hotel is nicely redecorated but not refurbished so parts are strange and bathrooms old. Staff are welcoming. We ate dinner there. Starters and desserts were food. Mains were expensive basic pub grub. Breakfast was good though limited times between 8-9 so that felt rushed
