The restaurant was full until quarter past 8, fair enough. We were told to come back which was no problem, on arrival we were told no table had been booked. After discussion, a table was arranged although we had to wait until 9 o' clock. A member of staff (Lisa) tried her best to deal with not only our problem...

This weekend was booked as a birthday celebration with planned visits to a number of local attractions in the area. We were specifically attracted to the hotel as the website advertises 'a quiet environment to enjoy your night and recharge you for the day ahead' with a promise of rooms that are 'individ ually designed with both modern and periodic...

Upon arrival we were asked to pay up front which is a bit unusual having not seen the room nor the service. Hotel does have a lift but if you are disabled then access to rear or front of hotel is via several steps which means you cannot use a scooter or wheelchair. Room 5 was big enough but shower...

Nice size room with four poster bed. Bathroom bit dated. Carpet bit soiled. On the front but not too noisy. Hosts friendly and helpful. Why only three stars... The breakfast. Planned a walk up Snowdon the following day... After our cold boiled eggs and toast we needed breakfast elsewhere to set us up. Believe you can have a full English...

Checked in hungry around 7:15 and asked about dinner. Was advised by the lady at reception that the next sitting would be at 8:30. Offered to book a table but was told there was no need. Went to room and came back down at 8:30. Hungrier. Inquired again about dinner. Gentleman checked with chef but the kitchen was closed. Bit...

Didn't stay at the hotel, but popped in for dinner. I had the gammon with eggs and chips and my other half had the lamb shank with rosemary jus, both meals were yum..but the lamb shank was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place for dinner and it was great value for money.

This review is for the bunk house. I can't speak for the hotel. Now I don't expect a great deal from £19 per night, but what I do expect is cleanliness. The sheets on the bed were filthy, covered in good knows what and long hair... I'm bald. I'm just glad I had a sleeping bag in the car. The...

The hotel was very average but the manager Lisa Black is a very rude lady. Personally i would not recommend this hotel because of the experience i had with the rude management. There are better and cheaper hotels down the road from Glan Aber hotel.
