Stayed here last September as part of a biking trip. Glorious weather helped but so did the choice to stay here. Great value and the location is very central to all sights facilities in betws. We stayed in twin bedroom at the top of the house. Comfortable and clean. Off road parking for motor bikes. Hearty breakfast and chatty owner...

Spent 3 nights here in the single room (room 6) over a long weekend. The room is basic but cozy and the bed is nice and comfy, which is exactly what you need after a day's walking. Location-wise, it cannot be faulted. Everything in the village is no more than a 5 minute walk away, and the train station--outside of...

Stayed for one night in a twin room, no 5. There were two rooms at the top of the house which shared a shower room which was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and a good nights sleep was had. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Stayed for 2 days. Friendly welcome. Nice cooked breakfast. Useful to be able to use the WiFi. I had the single room. You need to be tidy and organised as it's not massive but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Good friendly welcome with a pot of tea, served in the lounge with you can use. The whole house is clean and appropriately furnished to suit the properties age. I had a single room which is small, and Lacked a place to put your bag that didn't get in the way, however it contained everything shower, toilet, wash hand basin,...

My daughter and I stayed for 3nights in September 2016 in a twin bedded room on the top floor with shared bathroom, (there was a second bathroom on the next floor down just a few steps away) in this lovely Victorian house. The owners were great, offering us tea and biscuits in the guest lounge on arrival. Everywhere was clean...

We had excellent service, very comfortable beds, tasty breakfasts and first rate accommodation. The inclusion of WIFI access was very useful and the friendly welcome and explanation of local businesses and places to eat was very helpful. A highly recommended B+B.

We had a top floor twin room which was well equipped and very comfortable. The accommodation is located in a side street off the main road. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was very good, offering a good choice of cooked english or continental. A friendly place to stay and we would certainly return.

We stayed at Garth Dderwen for 3 nights as a base to enjoy the mountains around Snowdonia. We were looking for a safe, clean, quiet and friendly base and that's exactly what we got. The owners were very welcoming and really helped to make it an enjoyable stay. Great value.
