I came here with a few of my friends, was served by a lovely young lady.. I think her name was lizzy or Lisa or something like that. Very friendly, made the time and effort to make sure we were OK. food was not that great for the price we paid. I couldn't help overhear a member of the older...

Had seen this hotel on our travels last year, so when we decided to stay in town, had to come here. Good points: big rooms, very clean, huge bathroom, great facilities, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Bad points: creaky floorboards in room, no view at back of hotel, noise from pub below especially the jazz band, the sound and smells from...

I have travelled through north Wales frequently over the years and spent many happy times there. Booked a 1 night stay. Book in 3pm erm okay. Plenty of car parking space at the rear of the premises. Don't get a pay ticket they are provided at reception when you book in so parking is free. The hotel is situated right...

Our last evening in Betwys y Coed and we visited the Royal Oak Grill bar. Very friendly staff, good choice of food all well cooked and presented. Nice selection of wine and beers. The price for three course meal was excellent We would recommend this restaurant as good value for money and good quality food.

We received a pleasant welcome at check in and directed for food options for the evening. Our room was a deluxe double and very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the rate and there was a good selection in both cooked or continental with a good efficient service.

Lovely lounge and bar. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Bedroom was clean but tired, bathroom was lovely, bed linen clean and comfortable. View was ugly - car park, bins and container. Room was warm but on opening window we had the fumes from the kitchen below! Room at £100 was reasonable but no more than that.

We arrived late, but were still able to get food and had a very pleasant stay. The location in the heart of North Wales makes it, and it was easy to stroll out into the village and enjoy the nearby river.

What an excellent lunch! Thoroughly enjoyed the meal when we stopped on our way through this wonderful village. The parking was easy and on entering the hotel were greeted by friendly staff member and taken to our table by a window. Although this hotel is on a busy main road connecting London and Holyhead the traffic noise was not a...
