My wife and I have just returned from a four night stay at Afon Gwyn.The house is delightful,and Gareth and Rana are both friendly and charming.We stayed in the Alice Suite which was large and beautifully appointed.The excellent breakfast was the ideal start to a day,s sightseeing.We shall definitely return.Diolch yn fawr.

Wonderful hosts, Gareth and Rana were welcoming, genuinely interested and helpful with advice and tips on our short but sweet stay. Slip off your shoes and you pad about the pale cream carpets as tho in your own home! Amazing choice at breakfast, seated in the bright and cheery conservatory. We visited Afon Gwyn for two nights after booking it online. We were not at all disappointed. We stayed in a beautifully appointed and spacious room with everything you could possibly require. The ensuite was large and well equiped too. The home was beautifully clean and relexing. Our breakfast was lovely and they were happy to supply excellent vegan options....

I found myself in Bala late Saturday afternoon needing a bed for the night in the Betws-y-Coed area. First call and proprietor Gareth couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Arrival in the dark was tricky is so much as signage is difficult to spot travelling South on the A470. Bag carried to my room on arrival and advice given...

Stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Room was fab with lots of space and over looking the garden at the back of the house. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. Breakfast was lovely and very well cooked. A lovely B&B in a lovely setting.
