I stayed at the Gwynedd inn for a weakened in May, it served all my needs examples there was WiFi, the room was highly CLEAN and there was a bath! Only problem was the bathroom door and the room was in need of a bit of a touch up. Apart from that I had a lovely stay and would recommend...

Great family pub. Well worth a visit after climbing Snowdon! Food portions are huge and food itself is delicious. I had steak and ale pie, cooked fresh and bursting with meat. Dog friendly as long as dogs are well trained and behave themselves. Highly recommended.

4 of us stayed last weekend as a base for the night before Snowden. Think we were the only residents before it gets busy. The room was basic enough but really clean & above what we expected for the price (£126 for 4 bed room). Didn't eat but the bar was good (maybe a few too many 🍺🍺 before a...

Had a quiet night on business. Dropped in as another pub was full of half term families. Good to see good quality local sourced produce on menu. Very good burgers and steak. Took advantage of chess set and had a good evening listening to unoptrusive acoustic music selection. Just what we needed after a hard day at work.

The biggest plus of Y Gwynned has to be John - he checked us in on the Thursday night, served breakfast every morning and there every evening! On the Thursday he was working on his own, yet despite the bar being quite full, he still managed to provide service with a smile, and a welcome meal after a 9 1/2...

I stayed at the Y Gwynedd inn in September for a man vs Mountain event. The location as far as the event is concerned is perfect, but that's where the perfect ends. The double room was charged at £80/night (excluding breakfast)and what you get for it is a room that just barely fits a double bed, bathroom that barely fits...

Booked the bunkroom for four of us doing an event over the weekend. The bunk room consisted of 3 sets of bunk beds.....not acres of space but luckily there was no-one occupying the spare bunks so there was plenty of room and we didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone. The room was very clean, looked freshly decorated, had a...

We decided to visit Snowdon for the bank holiday weekend. This was the only place with availability so did not know what to expect. We arrived and were greeted by a lovely gentleman who welcomed us and opened the bar area for us to enjoy a drink. The barman was wonderful, very friendly and chatty and interested in our plans...

First off - it's not a 5 star hotel - doesn't pretend to be. This is reflected in the prices you pay. You need to pay 3 times more if you want that. Stayed for a couple of nights over the May bank holiday - The hotel is in a great spot to get to Snowdon for a climb! Check...

We were warmly welcomed with the offer to take our bags upstairs, the room and beds were comfortable and very clean and tidy - even the cat was friendly and welcoming! The food was excellent, especially the "Full English" breakfast, and we had a large family party with us for a splendid dinner served in the dining room. It was...
