Excellent stay here over bank holiday weekend. Best price and so much space - something which is rare in campsites in this area. Exactly what you need for camping. The most breathtaking views - advice would be to stay up at the top field - lots more room, quiet and the most beautiful views of Snowdon and the valley! Facilities... More

We stayed here for one night as a convenient Base for walking up Snowdon and is is exactly as described. Basic washing, showering and kitchenette facilities. For a working farm they can't really be faulted. The field we stayed in was slightly boggy so I probably shouldn't have taken my rear wheel saloon but overall was very good.

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a two night stay at this campsite and we loved it....despite the 47mph winds and heavy rain the first night! We definitely recommend. -Gorgeous views, no roads visible, peaceful and quiet; we felt totally back to nature! -Pitch up wherever you like, but be mindful that most of the fields are on... More

Clean and tidy. Lots of good pitches available with camp fires allowed. Toilets/showers ( £1 for a shower ) washing machine, drier and microwave. Hot water for washing dishes etc. Fresh clean drinking water also. friendly owners/staff. Stayed here for a few nights late August and enjoyed every minute. Highly recomend this camp site.

The campsite was lovely, plenty of space and choice for pitching, and all the basic amenities available. We really enjoyed our stay, and only have the one complaint from our stay, which is somewhat understandable! We stayed the day after the bank holiday, so had a very empty campsite. However, when inquiring about buying wood for our fire, they explained... More

Great campsite with friendly staff, even the chickens and sheep came to the tent to say hello. Clean and tidy bathroom and a place to dry your clothes and a microwave to warm up some food. Close to the shops and a few pubs and paths up to Snowdon...looking forward to coming back next year.

Very disappointed by this site. Fantastic location, let down by the following: 1) Lack of supervision of the campsite rules - especially noise and dogs 2) Toilets with broken glass in the basin and lack of adequate cleaning 3) Rubbish, farm machinery and building materials littering the site At £8 per adult per night greatly over-priced for the facilities on... We stayed for one night after climbing up Llanberis path. The campsite is very conveniently located for Llanberis village but the campsite itself needs some work. There was rubbish all over the field and the shower/loo facilities were very basic at best. Yes, it's cheap but the field is sloping so no flat pitches and therefore no chance of decent... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is the ideal base camp for Snowdon, an easy 20 minute walk from camp will find you quarter of the way up Snowdon, on the Llanberis path.Close to all village amenities, being only a half mile walk away, yet ideally placed for miles of walking in open countryside. Both the Llanberis route, which is the main route up Snowdon, and the Snowdon Ranger path can be accessed straight from the farm. The campsite boasts an amazing view of the North west face of Snowdon and many of the surrounding mountains. We are generally suitable for any respectful outdoor type, don't expect 5 star facilities or a clubhouse, we just provide decent basic campsite facilities, all the help and advice we can manage, and easy access to Snowdon with a panoramic view! ... more   less
