We stayed in a cottage in Trecastle and visited the Castle Coaching Inn half a dozen times. We always had a warm welcome and the food was excellent - the lamb was to die for. Excellent beers which changed each week. We also availed ourselves of the Wi-Fi which our cottage did not have. Thanks John, Andrew and Val

Good sized room and large bathroom. Room had extension cables whose pac test has expired. Wi fi if was free and worked well. Wall paper was in need of some tlc on the seams and couldn't open sash window. Imagine it could get quite hot in summer. Owner was very friendly - though we hadn't read the small print and...

We came here for a quite late dinner whilst on a DofE trip from London. We were quite late and didn't have a booking, but they were really friendly and offered some great food. The gammon I had was delicious and thebvegetabe curry was also enjoyed greatly by my colleague. The barman was such a. Friendly guy who I recognised...

Very enjoyable stay. Not the smartest place I have stayed at but very comfortable and spacious rooms. Lovely bar with excellent guest ales on tap. Delicious roast lamb for dinner. The staff were very friendly. Definitely book to stay again in the future.

Had a meal last evening. The duck was really good, plenty to eat. If you want to eat anywhere past sennybridge I would recommend this place. The guest ale was smashing. Unfortunately it was a little quiet as the weather was bad. So I Think that was the reason. We'll be back. Thank you

Have visited this hotel several times now and will definitely do so again. As it is a very old building, it must be difficult and expensive to maintain but when we were there it was near the end of outside decoration, which has improved the appearance. The rooms are clean and comfortable, some with bath and some with shower so...

We had a great room. Bedroom and sitting area. Good access to Brecon National Park A bar in the hotel. Good breakfast included. They also have a restaurant for dinner. Trecastle is a very small Welsh village.

We have just come back from having had a wonderful stay in Trecastle at the Castle Coaching Inn. The food was fantastic with a great varied menu that was printed out daily. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. John and his wife were fantastic hosts and could not have been lovelier or more helpful at pointing us in the...
