When booking, Pat was friendly & very helpful on the phone. There were 4 of us - all walkers - and all four had an excellent stay at your B & B. It is unusual to able get a good sleep before a long walk on saturday - the B & B is within 5 minutes walking distance of all...

We have stayed at the Belvedere many times over the past 15 years and have always thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the comfort, cleanliness and top class breakfasts [not sure where the previous reviewer ate!]. The Belvedere provides a superb base for walking, biking or just exploring the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains, being ideally situated between Crickhowell and Brecon. We...

We booked this B&B well in advance for a wedding near by. We arrived late on Friday evening and were greeted by Pat. She was welcoming and gave us some suggestions for where we could go for dinner. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was dated and could do with a bit of TLC. We ordered...

We had a great week end and our stay at the Belvedere was everything that we could have wished for. We used the B&B as a base while we took part in a local Ultra Marathon. Pat was great and made some alternative breakfast arrangements to accommodate our early morning start. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean. This is...

Situated in the village of Talybont on usk this b & b is on a quiet road so a peaceful night is virtually guaranteed. My room was an ideal size...one could say that it was small but two people would be quite comfortable in here...let's face it...it's a base from where you launch your daily adventures around some of the...

During our motorbike tour of Conwell and Wales we stayed here for 2 nights, the bikes were left behind the locked gates, and we could leave our panniers in the garage. Breakfast we great, very filling, Pat was very nice nothing was too much trouble. The B&B its self was spotlessly clean. I would defiantly stay there again if I...

The best thing about this bed and breakfast is the owner Pat. She is friendly, hospitable, and very accommodating. She's a true pleasure to be around. Our room was fresh, clean, and totally appropriate for the price we paid of 30 GBP per person. We ate a full Welsh breakfast each morning. There are other options for breakfast as well....

This is an excellent b&b. Have been going here year after year since 2003 an it never disappoints! Have stayed in each of the four rooms but mainly stay in room 4 which is a lovely cosy room! Can't say that I've ever sunk into the bathroom floor and I can certainly stand between the wc and the sink, think...

I know Talybont so it was easy to pick the Belvedere to stay. The photos on the website were very accurate and our room was delightful, airy, spacious and comfortable. Amenities included a brew kit and TV with Freesat as well as plenty of cupboard and wardrobe (with hangers!) space. Towels were provided. The double bed was very comfy and...

“Room 1 was of a good size and quality.”

“The single and the twin rooms were both lovely, even though the single was the smallest, there was still enough room for a double bed and it was still comfortable and cosy. The twin was slightly bigger and equally as comfortable, both were extremely clean and homely.”

“Room 1 is the biggest, followed by 2. The other 2 are a little "cosier' particularly the smallest - but with a price to match.”
of 5 bubbles WanderingIslander, 11 Feb 2013 | Read review
“All rooms are very nice and extremely clean with hairdryers available (I did not know so brought my own), coffee/tea making available in-room and TVs. Also, WIFI is available, which in the area is a really nice touch. From the three rooms that I was able to see - room 3 has a larger bed (kingsize I think) then others (standard double). Room 1 has a larger bathroom then the others. Room 2 is still very comfortable, just not a large bathroom or bed.”
