Visited for my friends hen do, booking was simple and easy. Two bathrooms and an extra toilet was useful, comfy beds and an amazing kitchen! Really nice added extras like radio in bedroom and tv (with tevo including free movies). Absolutely loved the house, was pretty much perfect for 9 of us! Would definitely come back again!

We booked the house for a group of 10 for a Hen Party, it was absolutely perfect! Rhodri who we booked the house through was extremely helpful and always replied very promptly to my annoying questions. The house was spacious, very homely and had everything we needed. The decor is quirky and cool and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this accommodation for a large group.

Stayed here for a friend's stag do in late April 2014 but have only just got round to doing loads of tripadvisor reviews I've been putting off. Amazing place to stay, really spacious and comfortable. We also booked the other house they have down the road and it was great for us to have an opportunity to get together and have a beer while people were getting ready. Also having the option of getting fry ups on the go from when the first person got up was also great. They were really accommodating, all of the lads said they really enjoyed the place and it helped make the stag do run really well

We recently stopped at Maison Galles for the weekend during the Rugby League World Cup and it was absolutely amazing! There was six of us altogether we loved the house! We were Met by Rhodri who showed us around the house and made sure we were ok! We could contact him at any time if needed but this was not required as they had left a binder of information with everything you could imagine in from house info to local bars and restaurants. The house was warm and there was music playing in every room. The house is breath taking and decorated beautifully! I want to live here ha ha! Its very spacious and everyone of us slept soundly. The house is a ten-15 minute walk to the center or around £6 in a taxi! I have to say the taxi drivers were all lovely and readily available! Will be returning at some point! Had a fab weekend and the house was the icing on the cake! Just Perfect!!!! X

We arrived at the house on a cold March day. The flat was warm, bedside lights were lit and soft music was playing in each bedroom...what a lovely welcome. We rented the flat for a Hen Party and it was perfect. We felt at home and comfortable straight away.It is situated in a nice part of Cardiff and is handy for the town centre and The Bay I would have no hesitation in recommending this as an ideal spot to explore Cardiff and the area.

We spent two nights in the four bedroom townhouse. We were delighted from the moment we walked through the door. The decor is charming with some lovely antique pieces. The beds were so comfortable and everything was very clean. The kitchen is exceptionally well outfitted and the towels are big and fluffy. We had no problem parking right at the door. There are many good restaurant options very close by. This was a really lovely place to stay!

We stayed at the 2 bedroom property just round the corner from the 4 bedroom. The road is quiet for a City location and we had no problem parking in the street. The house itself was very clean, no expense seemed to have been spared with decoration and we were very surprised by what such a small house could contain. There was even a small garden and we were able to take our dog too. Free wifi also included, we couldn't have asked for more, very impressed and all for the cost of a decent 4-5 star hotel a few minutes walk away. Thought twice about reviewing it here, as we don't want it fully booked whenever we need to use it next!

First a word of caution: When I booked for Maison Galles I thought I was booking the 4 bedroom townhouse because that is what the photos are of on Trip Advisor. In fact there are at least 2 properties and I actually had booked the 2 bedroom townhouse, which was great for my needs. The self-catering two bedroom townhouse in Wyndham Road (there is also a Wyndham Street and Wyndham Place that will confuse your GPS so be clear to type in Road) is in a row of typical Welsh terraces. It is an amazingly quiet, compact house. The decor, welsh art and eclectic library are clearly the result of a lot of love, style and thought. The heating was efficient and surprisingly necessary in a Welsh summer! The owner was exceptionally helpful and responsive. I asked for a hairdryer and umbrella in advance and microwave when I got there - all provided quickly and happily. There was a problem with the freezer - immediately attended to and 20 pounds left to compensate me for the food that was ruined as a result. Modern bathroom and kitchen carefully integrated into a lovely cosy, homely, stylish property. It is not a large property so 4 adults would fill the place up. I loved it all to myself - much better than a hotel room for 9 nights!!! Probably ideal for a solo, or a couple or a couple with one child. If you have a car, parking could be a nuisance. There is restricted resident-only parking in the street with only a few spots for non-residents. One day (out of the 9 nights I had there), I had to park 10 minutes walk away in the rain which was irritating but that is really the only possible downside of this property. I got a reasonable park on each of the other nights!

Stayed here for a weekend on a stag on in Cardiff with a group of 10. Being a stag do I was surprised just how nice the venue was! Highly recommended. Owner was also very friendly when he showed us round. Hope to return again, or at least try the one in Paris! Many thanks.
