My family and I dined in the hotel restaurant on 22nd December 2022. We were charged twice in error after telling me my card did not go through the first time. I have contacted the hotel 5 times by telephone and visited once to resolve this matter. I have received emails from Premier Inn so say that they are looking into it. The managers at the hotel tell me Premier Inn need to refund. Premier Inn tell me only the hotel can refund me. This is a totally unacceptable response to an error the hotel made. They have charged me twice for one visit to a restaurant and are avoiding repaying me. Be aware. Use cash only. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Very disappointing.
This hotel was my first hotel I’ve really been to and it didn’t fail to meet my expectations. The staff were extremely friendly and always helpful when we needed assistance. The room was breathtakingly beautiful and the view was amazing. I will definitely be returning again
We enjoyed the Premier Inn very much. It was a nice hotel with nice rooms and comfy beds, lovely socialising area, good breakfast and a good central location. The staff were lovely. We were meeting up with extended family, and it worked really well for us all.
Our stay at the Premier Inn Queen Street Cardiff was a comfortable, quiet and within a stones throw of the City centre. The rooms were clean and tidy with more than adequate facilities. When staff were approached they were always curtious.
We stayed for 2 nights there was 4 of us with 2 rooms next to eachother, check in was ok it was done by self service kiosks. The rooms were OK they had a kettle and tea and coffee a really good thing was that they had a guest supply room so you go grab your tea and coffee if you run out The bartenders were really good one in particular really stood out when you ordered a cocktail he really made a show out of it that was nice to watch I used the toilets in the lobby and out of 4 toilets only one was useable one had no door the other had no panel to flush and the 3rd had poo all over the floor we did report that to staff Overall I would say fantastic location for the town ( which has everything you could ever imagine shopping wise) it just needs to pay more attention to the little things…
Stayed overnight with my daughters and granddaughter. Ideal location for shopping. Welcomed in arrival we were early but stored our bags for us to go shopping. Easy check in. Lovely clean rooms. Meal deal worked for us.
Up to the usual PE standards, perfect for my one night trip to Cardiff. It’s about a 10 min walk from the central station through the shopping centre. Clean, warm, spacious, comfy. The breakfast was very fresh and the restaurant area is rather stylish. I was on the second floor, and could hear the lifts, so was glad I brought my ear plugs. The only negative was the self check-in experience. Two of the machines I tried weren’t working. The staff were so nice and friendly, it’s seems sad that they’re being replaced with rubbish machines with far less capacity to provide a warm and cheerful welcome.
Needed a reliable room for the night at relatively low cost. Arrived just in time for the check in system to go down, but staff were helpful and kept my bag for half an hour when I went elsewhere. Room suitably equipped with desk and standard comfy bed, bathroom clean. Effective lift for getting to and from the fifth floor. Only major gripe was was the useless air heating system which took forever to warm the room up, even set at 28 (!), on what was a very cold night outside. With only a thin duvet I left the heating on overnight and the system was quite noisy. There are no phones in the rooms as others have commented, so I didn't bother to go downstairs again to advise staff, as it seemed unlikely they'd be able to do anything - these systems just aren't very good.
Located at the top of the shopping area and about an 8-10 minutes walk from the train station. Very clean, lovely relaxing bar area with a good choice of drinks and wines. Friendly staff. Large clean room with great facilities.
This was a newly revamped Premier in and looked lovely. There were lights in the window that looked welcoming. He reception area was very chilled and relaxed and made me feel welcomed. Check in was easy. The room was beautiful. There was a purple light on behind the bed which meant when you walked in you could see without feeling blinded. There was lots of other lights available too. The room had a thermostat so we could choose how warm or cool we wanted it. My only gripe was the pressure of the shower could have been better but there was a dispenser for soap and shower/shampoo which was a great idea. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend. Only 10 min from the train station and close enough to the centre to walk in but not so close your surrounded by noise.
