We had a fantastic weekend in Cardiff visiting it's wonderful sights. The Mayfair guest house was easy to find, great service and good sized rooms. Parking was very helpful as we used the local transport when we arrived. House keeping and hospitality were very kind and generous with their knowledge of the city. Thank you.

Lovely staff, nice modern furnishings and parking space if needed. Nice and clean. Just down the road from the town centre and buses are scattered all along the road anyway. Definitely recommend for any kind of stay in Cardiff

Came down to Cardiff to meet with old friends with my partner. Our stay here was lovely! The land lady (Trisha) made us feel welcome and at home. I recommend the Mayfair guest house and sister guest house Parklane to anyone I know visiting Cardiff! Will be staying again once we plan out next trip down! Thank you x

As other reviews have said the place is absolutely filthy, dust & a strong smell of smoke hits you as you enter the guest house, you have to pay in advance before you can look at the room the proprietor stands at the bottom of the stairs holding out her hand desperate to take your money, the breakfast is an...

Where do I start... The room was a awful, dust every where, I had to clean the coat hanger's before I used them and dust the headboard. The mirror was no where near the sockets, the bed linen was as old as the arc and had stains on them. The whole room needed a really good clean never mind painting....

We went to Cardiff for a daytrip on Easter Sunday, too many things to see so we decided to stay over night and try to find accomodation in really last minute... The lady was very helpful and had a warm welcome even if we arrived late evening. The guesthouse has a large backyard as parking area for cars. Our room...

Me and my daughter stayed here for a night when I took my son back to Cardiff uni. When we entered the guest house the first thing that struck me was the smell of stale fag smoke, not pleasant at all. The 2 ladies who were there during our stay are lovely, very friendly and chatty. We had a room...
