By far the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in, and that’s nothing to do with the guests! The first room I was in had literally no sound proofing between the rooms, I could hear next doors conversation word for word, and their tv over my own! They were not being noisy, there’s simply nothing there to stop the sound. Had to call reception from my mobile (no instructions on how to call through to reception from the phone in the room) and it took 6 attempts to get them to answer the phone. Once moved to another room all was quiet, thank fully there was another room.

I have to admit we arrived at the hotel with some feelings of trepidation having read previous reviews, however we've had a very pleasant stay. Reception staff were very welcoming at check in, room was spotlessly clean and breakfast was tasty. Stayed as we were visiting family in the area and it was a great overnight stop, conveniently located just off the A48M.

1. Got to the hotel late evening asked for iron receptionist said to come back in the morning as none left without even looking so had to go and borrow one of my sister who's daughters wedding we came to attend. 2. There is no main light in the room just wall lamp so it was so dark in the room plus this time of the year its dark already. 3. Around 9 in the morning next day asked the house keeping for milk for the room she said she ran out which is crazy it's a hotel with kitchen etc. 4. Pic of they have on the website is nothing like what you get I have uploaded pic, and the machine is dangerous as its got no hooks for the machine attachment so it's wrapped in a knot lol. 5. Spoke to guy in the office name kyle made a complaint fair enough he offered a full refund but all day and the next morning still no 1 turned up with any milk. 6. The aircon unit/heater made so much random noise sounds when on and middle of the night when turned off it made some random noise even thou it was off sound like somone was having a shower or water leak. I try upload video of the noise when it was turned on but seems like I can only upload pic as not sure how to upload video So basically this was the worst hotel we stayed at and we have stayed in a few walked pass the house keeping etc they just ignore you not even a good morning oh well . I would avoid this place you could take my advice or go through what we did.

A friend and I stayed for 2 nights and it’s awful. Rooms are damp with air conditioning units that are loud all night and cold! The place is shabby and needs a team of decorators and maintenance people to bring it up to scratch. The table in the room was sticky from the previous guests and there was rubbish in the corner. Paper cups limited items and nothing to stir your coffee/ tea with. Outside the rooms, the carpet was well worn with paint on it, whoever painted obviously missed the walls! Fire doors are wedged open or don’t shut properly, that is a serious safety issue. The breakfast is ok. Don’t drink the orange juice, it’s just weak squash. The hot plate isn’t turned up enough to keep the breakfast warm and the bread is hard before you toast it. The are bags of laundry in reception and it’s there for hours. The staff are nice, just too young to be able to deal is anything major. There is a 17 year old girl serving alcohol in the bar because there wasn’t anyone over 18 available. Not a great stay and I won’t be returning.
