We stayed at the courtfield hotel for 3 nights. We were made very welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a nice spacious bathroom. The breakfast was very nice and plenty of it. Norman and Keith are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Keith gave us some very good recommendations on local places to eat...

Having stayed here for several years on an annual basis for a re-union I have always had the same warm welcome and if, and when possible, the same room! which makes it more homely and welcoming on my return visits. my October booking has been made and I looking forward to my stay. Thank you Keith and Norman see you...

Fabulous location, on a tree lined residential street full of wonderful Victorian houses and B&Bs. Plenty of easy on-street parking. And very close to the centre of Cardiff and the University, and near to Bute Park and the river. The hosts Keith and Norman were charming throughout, from initial phone booking, to greeting us on arrival and giving great tourist...

An absolutely lovely Victorian town house hotel with the best hosts one can ever imagine. They are really helpful (nothing is too much effort) and know a lot about the area. Honestly, if you want to know where to eat or where to go: ask Keith! Also, if you are into history don't hesitate to ask him about the wonderful...

Roger stayed for 4 nights, very reasonably at this Victorian hotel in respect of a visit to watch Sussex play Glamorgan at the Swalec. Since I last stayed there 6 years ago and twice before then, there have been some excellent improvements especially to the breakfast room and bedrooms. Keith and Norman are excellent hosts. Keith's breakfasts were excellent and...

We have visited Cardiff quite often in the last 10 years and have usually stayed at one of the many guest houses in Cathedral Road, so have sampled a fair number; however, we overlooked the Courtfield until it was recommended by a relative. Taking in to consideration price, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast and the great friendliness of the owners we feel...

We have been coming to the Courtfield now for a few years, ever since we first came across it, and have never wanted to stay anywhere else in Cardiff since. Lovely Victorian house decorated with sympathy and love by the owners - it's not so much staying in a hotel as being allowed into a Victorian home. Norman and Keith...

A warm welcome was our first impression and that remained throughout our stay. The hotel is full of character and original features which include beautiful stained glass windows. The hotel was full when we stayed but we had a very good quiet nights sleep. Our room was comfortable with everything we needed. And the breakfast .... it was excellent and...

We stayed at Keith & Norman's hotel to attend the Rod Stewart concert. We thought their hotel was excellent, really central for Cardiff's attractions, They were really good hosts, the room a double was homely & comfortable. One of the best breakfasts we've ever had cooked fresh by Keith. Would recommend this gem to anybody. Would definately stay there again...
