I'll start with advice as I know your only read the first lines- this hotel is tricky to find unless you know where you're going. Following yours satnav will get you very close but look out for the david Lloyd behind morrisons, pull into this car park and right on the far side there is a dedicated car park for...

7th premier inn of the year. Chose this one because it was near friends in Cardiff so suited us but in general it is not quite as good as other premier inns. Room was the usual standard but a bit older than others. Odd layout of having to walk right through the David Lloyd leisure club past tennis courts etc...

Good service, clean rooms, all what you would expect from a budget hotel. Friendly and approachable staff. Left my wallet in the room on check-out. Had a phone call within 20 mins of leaving and was able to collect straight away as I was still working in the area. Only negative was that the attached restaurant facilities were a bit...

We wanted a short break to Cardiff, I get the Premier Inn email newsletters advertising cheaper rooms and although often you can't find a cheap room for where you'd like to go this time we did; £39 for a night to visit Cardiff. We travelled down late Friday morning, got down there around 12.30pm, check-in is advertised for 2pm onwards,...

As a seasoned user of Premier Inns every month, I would usually give any Premier Inn 5 stars. However, after ending up at Kwik Fit following my satnav,I was redirected to the David Lloyd centre. If you enter from the Morrisons store you will not see the sign for PI. For the use of the bar in the evening you...

Nice clean hotel, next to a sport centre but otherwise quite a way from town. Wifi was not good unless you paid. Staff were extremely helpful. A long walk to breakfast and though the signs to get you there were very good there was poor signing to find your way back.

Very comfortable - bed is luxurious. Room is modern and has everything you need. Staff were very nice and seemed keen to please. Arrived late in the evening about 10pm everything was very easy for checking in.

What they did well -Securuty notices outside. -Restaurant at David Loyds very tidy ,modern ,Receptionist presentable and flexible as you make your own choices of food. What they could do better - Clear directions to the Premier Inn Car park rather than end up at the David Loyds car park next building...Trees too tall covering the tall hotel signs cannot...

Hotel was a great base for a weekend in Cardiff visiting my daughter who is in Uni Halls. We had a ground floor room which was large, comfortable and quiet. Receptionist was welcoming and friendly. We ate in the David Llyod centre on the first evening as it was getting late, suited me being a vegetarian (spicy bean chilli), partner...
