Outside of hotel not very appealing to look at but fine once inside. All clean. Bed's amazing as usual and room cleaners tucked in our daughter's teddy when making up the bed which was a really nice touch considering I'm sure they're short of time. Car park exit needed gritting badly as was covered in black ice and trying to...

This hotel was a delight from the receptionist right up to the sleep especially as there was no creaking floors to keep me awake. Once again the staff were friendly & welcoming (as all Premier Inn staff are, well in my experience anyway). The beds are as advertised and this coupled with silence made for a really relaxing stay of...

Ideal location for what we required. The hotel is looking tired and needs updating in areas. Staff very friendly. The bar/lounge are too cold for us to relax in with drinks. Had to take drinks back to the room as it was too chilly. The restaurant again was too cold for us and had to keep coats on until we...

Single night stay, hotel is a little tired. Overall okay stay, and for £53 excluding breakfast, not bad. Paid for a buffet breakfast and they decided not to do it, as they werent busy, so just cooked to order. It was a cold night, and single radiator under the window had a hard job keeping up. But for the price,...

While the staff were friendly and helpful, as a vegetarian there was little on the menu for me. The dishes I chose (vegetarian burger, garlic and herb mushrooms, fish and chips) could have come from a supermarket. I chose to eat out other than for two dinners in 8 days.

Hello June, Thank you for taking the time to review your visit. We're pleased to know that you found the staff to be kind and helpful during your stay. It's a shame that you were unimpressed by the variety of vegetarian food options at the Thyme restaurant. We try to ensure that all guests can enjoy their experience and want...

I enjoyed the breakfast, it was small but good, you could also order extras. Options of yoghurt, juice and cereals. dinner was tasteful and not expensive. Room was clean and tidy, although there was no fridge. It was a bit too hot for me, but overall it is a very good room. It has good value for money.

It's a budget hotel and consequently I will rate it against other hotels in the same category (not 4* & 5*). We spent 3 nights there in November as it was convenient to the Heath Hospital where my daughter was having an operation. The room was clean and comfortable enough tho had no easy chair. When I asked in reception...
