The staff at this B&B were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and plentiful. The B&B stands on Cathedral Road leading out from the city and a 20 minute walk gets you into the centre. We opted to walk through the park which was lovely. The room we had (No 2) had a lovely balcony overlooking...

The pros for this hotel are many. Awesome English breakfast (although the window is for 1 hour), very nice and helpful owners, nice size rooms, clean and safe area. The con is that the property is quite a walk from downtown Cardiff. I love to walk but it proved too much for me after a long day and had to...

Cannot fault this lovely little B&B. We received a warm welcome when we arrived and were given a nice, comfortable room with great tea and coffee making facilities. To walk into town only takes about 15 minutes but you also have the option of catching the bus, located directly out the front. Breakfast was great with a large variety of...

I have just got back from a trip to Cardiff to watch the Olympic football and was lucky enough to get a twin room with private bathroom for myself and my 9 year old son,due to a cancellation. The hotel was spotless throughout and nothing was to much trouble for the lovely owners and staff. Preste Gardens is a 20...

We really like this place. Really sweet, beautifully decorated, wonderful host/breakfast. BUT, they only take cash...be aware of that :-)...as they don't advertise that on booking.

We stayed in Rm 6, which is very light, as curtains are not lined, with some of them coming off the hooks at the ends, and the blinds are thin - I hooked the curtains back up myself and put chair backs against the curtains the restrict the light coming in for the second night. We were offered an alternative...

Loaded with History. Cathedral Road is a flat 10 min walk from the City Centre. For Cricket fans this hotel is perfect...as near to Sofia Gardens as it is possible to be. I would stay here when I go to FlatHolm Island. FlatHolm Island now has overnight accommodation, you get there by Launch, from Penarth Barrage....which you can access from...

2 couples stayed in this hotel. Quiet pleasant. Our room was not too big but for what we spent in it was enough! The other room was bigger and had a little terrace. There is a nice lounge downstairs. The staff were very friendly. The coocked breakfast was very nice. 20 mints walk from the centre. Plenty of space to...

Preste Gaarden is run by a friendly couple. They were welcoming and offered info about the area on arrival. The rooms are pleasantly decorated, with style and taste considered. It looks like the couple really care about their hotel. They had a lovely lounge downstairs with a Christmas Tree already up. The place was nice and quiet to get a...
