Absolutely loved my stay here! A beautiful, quiet hotel, maintained to a high standard. Our room was faultless. Had a great nights sleep on a bed that was deliciously comfy. There were fresh flower arrangements through the main hotel which were all fresh & beautiful. Breakfast was delicious & ingredients were high quality (I had eggs Benedict & my husband had a cooked breakfast). The staff were all lovely & professional. We will definitely be returning. It’s the best hotel I’ve stayed in.

We stayed over two nights for a family wedding. The service was excellent and the food was very good. Plenty of places to relax and enjoy. We would highly recommend. Lovely location with stunning views over Cardiff.

This is our second stay, we love the location, view and standard of accommodation. Staff are welcoming and the rooms have a wow factor. Great location to get to city centre and the views across the city aregrea!

I arranged a retirement dinner at the venue. Cathy & Emma the events team were very helpful prior to the event & the staff at the hotel were very helpful & attentive on the night. We had use of several of the lounges so people could mingle in different areas. The ambience was lovely & the food was excellent !

Enjoyed our weekend stay at this hotel. It was very clean, we had a spacious room with great views down toward Cardiff. The location is lovely. We lost internet connection at some point late weekend - but this was not a major issue for us.

From arriving at the property and seeing the beautiful landscaped grounds with glorious views back over Cardiff city, we knew we were in for a great visit. Check in was fast and efficient, and the room was high spec and in excellent condition. We went out to the Miller and Carter restaurant 500m from the property for my birthday meal, however, had breakfast at the hotel before departure. The breakfast was excellent, as was the service of the friendly smiling staff. The testament of a great stay, is not wanting to leave, we will certainly be back, thank you.

A great stay at this lovely hotel. The four poster bed was fabulous, and the staff were very attentive. The food was very good and served to a high standard. We would definitely stay again and would happily recommend this hotel.

Waited 10 mins at reception before anyone appeared to check us in. Number of problems with our room which had obviously not been checked beforehand. 2 were rectified very quickly but towel rail in bathroom not working which meant it was cold in bathroom for our 2 night stay. Dinner 1st evening was not enjoyable as insufficient staff to cope with busy service. Table of 10 booked at the same time as us resulting in long wait to give and serve our order. Hotel is a lovely property with a lot of good points let down by easily rectified faults. Some of the staff very inexperienced and require more training, particularly on Reception. Despite having paid for dinner, bed & breakfast we were charged again for our meals and excess was not repaid on to credit card, which should have been done immediately the mistake was pointed out. Extra 15% charge at check-in in case we had extras and then didn't pay for them. Older guests do not appreciate being made to feel they are not trusted. What a shame. Could be so good.…

Stayed for a family get together. Beautiful setting, despite the drizzly weather that hampered the amazing views of Cardiff. We did manage a glimpse of Cardiff on the last morning. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast choice was varied and tasty
