Second time staying at Number 62 and what a pleasant stay. Alan and Liz are both so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Ten minute walk into the City Centre. Alan is a wealth of information in regards places to eat and things to see and do. This is a home from home.

Absolutely wonderful place. Lovely couple, Impeccably clean. Wonderful comfortable beds. Within walking distance of the city center, places to eat, shop and the Castle. The walk to the city is through a very pretty park.

I got a massive room, really clean and facing a garden. Elderly couple is living downstairs, so all the cooking smells were reaching my room. If someone is fussy might find it annoying (there's no breakfast or cooking facilities there). Im sure better ventilation and some smell diffusers might help. The couple seemed nice, they were asking why Im there... More

We are always grateful when a guest has taken the trouble to post a review. We do not often feel it is necessary or appropriate to respond but occasionally a post demands attention. Your check out was 34 days prior to reading your post, remembering detail of your stay is a challenge. We will not compromise on cleanliness, and thank... More

The owners were helpful, with good knowledge of their city. They're located close to the centre with good transport links to the centre & near to good parks & the river, yet far enough away to be comfortable, The room was big, well decorated and tastefull. I had the room to the front of the building, with large windows, yet... More

We stayed with Alan and Liz at No 62 in Sept while setting up my daughter for post-graduate study at Cardiff University. We could not have picked a nicer spot - comfortable, clean rooms, thoughtful amenities for tea and bathing, and a perfect location. As first time visitors, our hosts were always willing to answer questions and their in-room list... More

A very comfortable room with all we needed for a 4 night stay. The owners are very helpful and on site if you need them, but not at all intrusive and leave you to come & go as you please. They service the rooms to an immaculate standard. The location is quiet and the walk through Bute Park to the city... More

Number 62 was an absolutely perfect place. I came to Cardiff for a conference at the university. How lucky for me that the walk from Number 62 to the University of Cardiff was through the beautiful Bute Park! It is also a short walk through the park to the downtown pedestrian area. Liz and Allen are fantastic hosts and very... More
