Stay in this B&B because of limited hotel options due to the rugby and football. It’s a lovely little hotel, was nervous at first but rooms were clean and very tidy. Our kettle was broken however it was sorted straight away and given a treat to have with our coffee. Great service, great facilities with parking. Would stay again.

A little old fashioned, but in good decorative order, comfortable and clean, with sanitiser available and generous toiletries and tea tray. A warm but not overbearing welcome. Unfortunately the WiFi wasn’t great, which wasn’t a big problem until we decided to take advantage of the lovely big smart TV....we couldn’t watch anything unfortunately, aside from sport. The location is very good. Although on a main road, it is quiet inside. The city centre is a half hour walk, or there is a bus stop just outside. Within 15 mins walk there are restaurants and cafes galore. Once you park up, no need to use the car. There’s a car park, and we easily found some street parking. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Room Tip: We had a family room (though there were only two of us) which overlooked an inner courtyard type...

We stayed here for a rugby weekend and while the hotel room was clean and ok, there was virutally no staff present and the price was seven times normal. We won't be going again. The room was nice, the tv was a bit small, but everything was clean and tidy.

We arrived at 8pm to check in and were greeted by a lovely man who ran through everything to do with checking out etc. Then we went to our room which was decorated very well with an ensuite and a very comfortable bed. Compared to other hotels the experience was of a much higher standard and for a great price, will definitely book again.

5 out of 5 as the hotelier went out of his way to welcome me even though I arrived late. Room was clean, kettle was a nice touch and well stocked. Bed simple, comfortable. Shared shower small but clean with provided toiletries. Sink in room and working TV. My only negative would be a very busy street outside, might be worth sleeping with the window closed. Great value for the price.
