Even though it was an adults birthday meal there are children so need to keep them happy. The meal was generally enjoyed by all it is what it is value (mass market) for money. The scampi was not the best by any standards and there was no fish sauce (tartar) for the other sea food meal either as they had...

Wow what a change We stay here quite often, when we come over to see family. The food and atmosphere was always good but now the décor has given it a much brighter and much needed lift. The pub appears to be under new management, but the food and menu have both changed, and much for the better. The sharing...

Another nice stay at this hotel - the pub / restaurant on site serves lovely food too. The restaurant is being revamped from the 1st - 31st August 2016 so visitors who usually have breakfast will not be able to during that time. Nice room, clean and a great location.

Good location and a good price for a 2 night business stay in South Wales. Fairly quiet and that is a must when travelling on business and working late. Minor criticism was the bed was a little uncomfortable for my liking but otherwise quite a pleasant stay.

We used this Inn as a halfway stopover from a holiday in Newquay back to Lancashire as there are some fantastic Roman excavations at Caerleon not far away. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist for whom nothing was too much trouble. We had two faulty light bulbs in our room which were replaced within 30 minutes. The bed was...

Stayed at this hotel recently and was pleasantly surprised. The room was basic but perfectly reasonable for the price. The staff were friendly and accommodating and were able to provide help when needed. The onsite pub was excellent at providing gluten free options and were more than willing to help with other dietary requirements (including providing soya milk for breakfast)....

Thank Sammy S
