The service was first class and I completely agree with one of the reviews below- friendly and attentive but not overbearing! The menus gave...

Had Sunday lunch for a birthday treat, food was excellent, roast beef was the Best I've had for a long time, and the Eton mess was to die for. Fantastic staff. They were very attentive but not overbearing.

We visited the Waterloo for a birthday meal. The restaurant was quiet, being the day after valentine's day. A friendly greeting, excellent service and superb food. This place never disappoints. Worth a visit, just for the listed interior. The fantastic food and service is an added bonus.

The room probably could have done with a...

A grade II listed building with a grade I listed bar and a menu that changes daily and offers interesting starters and mains that you won't find in a chain hotel. Cheerful and helpful staff, comfy room and a recently refitted bathroom with a heated floor. And very reasonable pricing!

We had our wedding on New year's eve and the whole thing was a massive success! Bob, Teri, Lisa and the staff worked incredibly hard and made us and our guests feel very welcome. The rooms were immaculate, the food amazing, service warm and friendly and overall our day was made amazing by the atmosphere and high quality service received.
