I've had some poor experiences with Express hotels previously, so was pleasantly surprised by this one. It's slightly away from the city centre but still reasonably central, staff were friendly and helpful and the room was fairly basic but nice and clean. Food was a lot better than the usual fare in these places.

We did not enjoy our experience staying at this hotel and will be telling our travel agent to choose something different for other clients. Would not recommend to any friends that they stay here. We asked if vegetables were available with the meal and were told no. Salad with meal had old, limp lettuce some of which was rotting. The...

Within walking distance of Belfast City Centre. Other pluses are: free car parking, clean and comfortable bedrooms, very good hot and cold buffet breakfast and adequate staff. However, the biggest downside of the hotel is its clinical bar/lounge.

This is the Holiday Inn Express, not the Holiday Inn downtown. This establishment was frustrating for several reasons. The first reason of frustration was the key card never worked in my lock, I got one try with the key in the door. The staff said the batteries of the lock needed to be changed and they would change the batteries...

Had a great stay at this Holiday Inn Express with the family. Great sized room, the breakfast and dinner was good, the hotel is located near a few restaurants and shops so a great location for our party. If we were staying in Belfast again, would definitely book again.

This is a really nice hotel, we stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of April, the staff were really helpful at check-in and through out our stay. It is about a 10 min walk to the city centre which didn't bother us.

Not the most luxurious of hotels but it was clean and the staff were good as well as the breakfast. The location is very good only a short stroll to to the city center. Very Clean Hotel, good location in the University district. Walking distance to lots of coffee shops and restaurants. Gated parking available. Felt safe walking around the area during the day however night time may be a little iffy for some people. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Close drive to downtown. Construction next door was taking place during our stay,...

Firstly... a confession: I was here on a business trip and I felt very differently than my colleagues about this hotel. While they found the area and especially the street the hotel is on a bit "dodgy" (and indeed, several locals warned us against walking further towards Ormeau Road), I felt that the Queen's Quarter was not much different from...
