My wife and I have just had yet another great stay at Tara Lodge. This great place has the politest staff possible who clearly pride themselves in how their establishment is perceived by their guests. The rooms are beautiful, (especially after witnessing a décor horror recently in Chamonix of all places) so well decorated and finished to perfection. We will...

Lovely reception staff, great hotel, superb breakfast (the team who serve this are dead on) There is off street parking too. We stayed in what is termed the "annex" part of the hotel. The staff were all friendly, but not intrusive. The breakfast was freshly prepared and served well. The quality of the food was a very pleasant surprise. The lodge is well situated with bars, restaurants, and other entertainments just a block away. I'll return to Tara Lodge.

We were welcomed by the receptionist Payton who gave us all the information we required as well as a great recommendation for an Italian restaurant which was 5 minutes walk...

Several good restaurants are within walking distance. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were prepared to give as much time as needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable...

I stayed here with my daughter for one night as she had an interview for university, only wish we had stayed a bit longer. The room cost £80 with bed and breakfast, and was excellent value. The beds were super comfortable and the room clean, tidy and modern. The staff were all lovely and helpful and the location was superb....
