Firstly I really don't think the photos do this hotel justice. We arrived anticipating it not to be great but we were pleasantly surprised - we travel for business and as such we stay closest to our training venues. The reception area and bar is super quaint and homely. Our room was super, absolutely huge with a balcony and the... More

Where do I begin? My experience with this hotel was nothing's short of perfect! My husband and I booked to have our wedding reception here in May last year and from the very first visit we knew it was the right hotel for us. The staff were so lovely, patient, professional and accommodating. Especially Madeline the duty manager. She dealt... More

Having been working in the local area the office booked me in here. The food was fantastic and was served by the friendliest staff. The rooms was large and comfortable, however a little TLC wouldn't go a miss... The only down side was the tv was probably older than me... However, spending little time in the room the TV didn't matter... More

Stayed here with 3 friends for a Christmas treat and was absolutely horrified at the way we were treated. The level of customer service was atrocious. The way the receptionist spoke to myself and other guests was shocking!! Even though check in was at 3pm we weren't able to get into our rooms until 3.30pm, when I questioned this I... More

I agree with those comments made about it needing updating, yes the TVs are old but the room was clean and quiet. Breakfast not much to shout about but the aura was generally more cared for than when I stayed here three or so years ago. So some has been working hard, just needs to keep at it. I was... More

Everything needs updating, TV old 4.3 CRT type, only basic channels, breakfast was poor. Could here people in pub across tne road. All in all just tatty and shabby and a real let down, I've stayed at Travelodge's and it's been more modern than this place
