Booked my wedding here and due to a change of plans, changed it to a reception party for when I returned home. Once we paid our deposit we felt like the staff didn't care about us as customers. We picked a room and had it booked for 2 years. When we got there the day of the party we were... More

We had a big party weekend booked from last year for over 200 guests travelling from as far as USA however when they went to check in the rooms had been given out to other people.Family members where stood in reception with young children and crying babies for over an hour while the receptionists tried to work out what had... (Please note that this is a review of the seasons restaurant at balmoral and not the hotel or bar itself) I live nearby the Balmoral hotel and it has always been a local 'pint and a steak' kind of place. Anything else was a risk taste wise. However, since it has come under new ownership the transformation is outstanding! The... More

Attended a wedding here, poor effort all round. 2 night stay, no food available on Friday night even though plates of food passed us out for a wedding reception. We had to order food from the local Chinese takeaway!! And eat it in the foyer!!! I'm glad of this now as the breakfast was really rough, seemed reheated. Hotel reception... More

Had family from England home so brought them out for dinner in lady-Anne bar. Lovely meal as usual but would love to see the chandeliers shining. I know it's only small point but would really set the lovely woodwork off.

Not a bad place, clean and tidy, staff let it down though, bar staff and waiters were nice but management and reception were not helpful or friendly, look down there nose at you and don't want to be bothered. Bad customer service is gonna kill this place, didn't fell welcomed at all

We booked the Balmoral for a long weekend in Belfast. it's a short taxi ride (about £8) from the City Centre. the hotel is lovely, three bars, a restaurant and a great base. it cost us £108 for a twin room for two nights so worked out £26 a night, bargain. The hotel was clean, friendly and the food and... More

Just out from having a magnificent meal in the new Seasons restaurant in the Balmoral hotel. The staff were first class and the food was out of this world. The newly refurbished restaurant is only gorgeous. This place is well worth a visit and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Dined in the new restaurant with family on Friday, have to say 10/10 for service and food! a step above the rest in the area, lady-anne bar downstairs is our usual spot but for something a little more impressive it hits the spot! No need to travel away into town centre for a special meal. well done to the new... More
