The staff here are awesome and will go out of there way to make everyone feel comfortable here as well as to help with anything you could possibly need. They also have something fun on every night. We joined in one night and went on a pub crawl which was a lot of fun. One night was (free) crepes and...

Never had such a great experience in a hostel, the staff was really nice and honestly I miss them!! they've helped me every time I needed something and they created a great atmosphere, the place was more than clean, and even you had free food! Would love to return and specially see the people again!

A fine hostel with a good location. The room was fine and the staff was very polite. Allthough, the hygiene lacked a bit. Ex. Missing toiletpaper and soap for several days and it felt like no one was cleaning the place? Breakfast was a bit disappointing - a few more choices to pick from please.

We booked a room for 4 on a weekend to Belfast. The staff were great and so was the hostel. Our room was comfy, the shower facilities were clean and in plentiful supply. There is a X-Box, some guitars, board games, cards, a pool table and football table downstairs. Great lounge and kitchen (with an outside patio) for socialising. The...

Celyn, Alexi, JP and so many others made this trip so worthwhile. Staff are mega friendly and are a laugh to play drinking games with. Facilities are great and the hostel is relatively central. Everyone there created an environment where you could make friends and feel at home. There always seems to be a group activity in the evening which...

when we visited Belfast we booked a stay at this hostel through hostelworld. This was one of the highest recommended hostels but still quite cheap which made us decide to go here. When we arrived we immediately noticed how friendly all the staff at the hostel was and they really tried to give everyone a good time and connect all...

Global Village is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. It is like a house with nice and friendly staff that make you feel at home + clean rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. You also have some food and coffee for free. I would definitely come back.

We traveled as two couples from Dublin to stay in Belfast over two nights. We stayed in Global Village for two nights. Upon arrival we met with the owner, Mark, and he showed us around the facilities - clean bathrooms and showers, a common room with pool table/beer pong table, beautiful smoking area and TV/chill room. The four of us...

Global Village is a uniquely awesome experience. Nestled by the university and in walking distance to downtown sights and all the bars and food on Botanic it's more like sharing a flat with a bunch of diverse best friends than a paid room. Much of the staff lives in and provides a base group that travelers are welcomed into so...
