We read up on LOTS of reviews before deciding where to stay in Belfast. This hotel seemed to have exactly what we both wanted, a bar for him and that quaint boutique feel for me. The staff (unlike what I've read here) were SO nice! Upon arrival, Chris, at the front desk was cheerful and answered our questions about the... More

As in keeping with the Malmaison brand, the hotel had the indulgent chic boudoir feel to it, a decent bistro which offered very palatable fish option at breakfast and location-wise, it is exceptionally well situated for Belfast city centre, particularly the trendy Cathedral Quarter. Overall, a highly commendable stay.

Stayed in Malmaison the night of 6th November to celebrate my best friend's 30th birthday. The hotel itself is beautiful with spacious rooms, lovely decor, great showers. Could not fault cleanliness however rooms are quite dark so a more discerning eye might have picked up on flaws in this regard. Despite the good rooms, I was left very disappointed by... More

I stayed here in may for my boyfriends 30th birthday and had booked it as a present for him I was so excited as I booked the samson suite for 2 nights which I heard was amazing but when we got there we were so shocked at the service and attuitude of staff. Had a flight out of Belfast at stupid o'clock the next morning so stayed here the night before. Only got to use the room (obviously) and the bar (again, obviously?) and for the price paid, can honestly say it is the best hotel I have ever used! Stunning decor, friendly service from both reception (had a coffee ready for me... More

Nice hotel, good location and access to Victoria shopping centre. We had a dinner, bed and breakfast package. Food was very good staff helpful and friendly. Our superior room was large and very well equipped, the only negative was the level of lighting. Several lamps but you could not see to even dry your hair!! We understand this is an... More

Stayed here when we went to see Paulo Nutini. Very dark interior but pleasant building and in a great location. We arrived at 3.20 pm and had to wait 40 minutes for our room to be ready. The reception is rather strange, two tables against the left hand wall and we walked past it twice before we figured out it... More

We went to Malmaison for sunday brunch / lunch. We didn't know what to expect as we hadn't been before. We were greeted by a very nice young lady who showed us to our table and explained the way the food was served and the variations in the menu. The starters were buffet style where you could have as much... More

We had a fantastic stay at Malmaison. Arrived late and they were very welcoming. Décor and ambience both really good fun, particularly on a weekend. Rooms are a great size and very plush and cheeky, also with fabulous toiletries. Staff were excellent throughout and couldn't do enough for us. We ate in the restaurant one night, food was very good.... More

This hotel chain belies its name. Very clean, comfortable, welcoming hotel with absolutely wonderful staff. They went out of their way to get us reservations and a car and driver.
