I've never been one for expectations so I always go in somewhere with an open mind but what I do want is friendly hosts, clean and comfortable accommodation and a delicious breakfast. The Oakleigh had it all and then some.......easy to find, stunning views from the room, plenty of parking. I stayed here with my family for a wedding at...

I'll be honest and say I had no expectations as this was a quick trip, however apron discovering Oakleigh house, I will say I most definitely be back. The room was spotless and so comfortable. Pam and Jan were so friendly and welcoming I felt I was home from home, breakfast was excellent the choice was amazing, although I ate...

Stayed here for one night - Jan and Margaret were very welcoming...I liked their "no rules" policy in regards to checking out, this allowed me to relax and gave me time to have a short walk in Tollymore Forest park which is only 5mins up the road. The B&B is on a quiet road with amazing views of the Mourne...

My husband and I stayed at Oakleigh House recently. Our room was very small. No room to open up one case, never mind two - unless you set them on top of the bed. The bed was comfortable and clean but the decor in the room, very dated. There were vertical blinds on the window but no curtains which meant...

We stayed at Oakleigh for one night and it was perfect. We used this lovely B&B as a base for walking and exploring the local area. The room was spotless, fluffy soft towels, and a delicious breakfast in the morning. Couldn't have asked for more.

My wife and I booked in for a single night, the owners were lovely, the room was excellent and the location was superb, being only a few hundred yards from Tollymore Forest Park and 5 minutes drive from the centre of Newcastle. The breakfast was superb after a super night's sleep. We enjoyed our first night so much we decided...

We stayed at Oakleigh House for 1 night in August on our trip to Northern Ireland. There is plenty of secure parking and the house is in a quiet location. We found the bed comfortable ,the room clean and the ensuite good. However the front double is very small and if you are a couple with double luggage you would be advised...

This beautiful B&B is only 5 minutes from the centre of town, but has views over rolling fields to the front and the Mournes to the rear, set in a gorgeous, blooming garden, with secure parking. Owners were really friendly, and helpful with recommendations of local places to eat, and walking routes. We had a tea, coffee and biscuit station...
