What a nice surprise to land at this lovely place surrounded my meandering gardens and pathways! And what history, USMC here secretly prior to bombing of Pearl Harbor, our military was already at work! The staff courteous and kind, king sized bed comfy, spacious bathroom and delicious food in the dining room. Felt like lifestyles of the rich and famous!

We attended a wedding at this location and we thought it was perfect . They have a permanat marquee like structure for the big day located next to the old building .The Hotel itself is very old fashioned and cosy ,The interior is very old world ,with wood and plaster work in abundance ,the little bar is well stocked with... The best thing about this hotel isn't the fabulous food, the lovely rooms, or gorgeous furnishings, it's the warmth of the welcome. The staff in this hotel are second to none in terms of helpfulness and friendliness. From the girls on reception to the waitresses and bar staff...their attentiveness and professionalism was superb. We just hosted a visit which included... More

Everything about our stay was very good except the room, which left something to be desired. The room carpeting and upholstered furniture were stained, it was obvious the carpet hadn't been vacuumed, and the toilet would not empty completely even after several flushes. You had to be careful when washing your face in the sink or you could very easily... More

We spent two nights here with our tour group. It was interesting that President Clinton, Secretary Hillary Clinton, Secretary John Kerry and Senator Ted Kennedy had stayed here. During WWII there were over 400 Quonset Huts housing Marines who participated in the D-Day Invasion. The Hotel is elegant, and the grounds were beautiful. Take a long stroll on its many... More

Everything about our tenth stay in seven years at this homely bastion of excellence in food and accomodation provision was most enjoyable. The food was first class {our son is a chef} The recommended wine was very appropriate. The accomodation was comfortable private and meticulous The service was excellent ...we are going back . Its only a matter of time

Stayed two nights at the Beech Hill Country House Hotel. It's a good 15 minutes from downtown Londonderry. The staff could not have been nicer. Ate in the restaurant one night and for breakfast each morning and give this high marks. I'm not giving this a 4 Star rating as the room is a 3 star quality. The towels were... More

My husband and I stayed here as part of our tour of Ireland in August 2016 and we both absolutely loved it. Our room was very large and remodeled with some great amenities at the far end of the building. It was a bit of a hike to get our luggage there but it was well worth it. We especially... More
