Unfortunately our room was situated in a strange position(situated on the groundfloor and both windows were with direct view to the public car park). For this hotel please be equiped with your one soap/shampoo( are missing). The only minus is the detergent/cleaning products smell.. is everywhere, including into the dinning room. The hotel has the own parking area, and also is...

This is a review of the restaurant only. I am pretty confused about previous reviewers describing the food as 'awesome' and 'amazing' as, in my experience, it was nothing of the sort. I can only assume that previous reviewers don't get out much. The food was OK, in as much as it was edible and filled you up but otherwise,...

We got two rooms; a loft with twin beds for the kids, and our queen room, right below them. The problem: we were directly above the pub, and it was Saturday night. We were also above the front door, where the pub patrons stood all night, smoking, drinking, and talking just below our window. Even though we slept with the...

The room itself was clean with a very good bed. The tv was a very large top class HD Sony unit which I couldn't fault. The bathroom appeared to be virtually new with all new quality fittings. The shower was excellent and spacious. Dinner in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. However, in my view, it's more of a...

Had a wonderful meal overlooking the sea from the upstairs restaurant . Very good menu consisting of local dishes & traditional Scottish dishes along with specials . I chose battered haggis fritters as a starter & couldn't fault , my main was a huge portion of battered haddock & chips that overhung the plate , I reckon it must have...

A very nice hotel in a great location, and the staff are wonderful. We arrived five minutes after lunch finished but no problem, we were fed. Nice clean and airy room with view over sea. Dinner menu is good pub grub, generous portions and reasonable price. On leaving we explained that we had an appointment and need to be off...

Been here many times and its great. The place is clean, tidy, quiet and very friendly. The food is awesome and there certainly not one to give you 'skimpy' portions. Reasonably priced and will continue to come back. Thank you.

Room basic but clean with view over North sea. Food in restaurant was amazing and staff couldn't have been nicer. Website advertised cocktail pitchers but staff had no idea what we were talking about ! Overall had a great time.

Booked a table late afternoon arrived at 5:30, we were greeted by a member of staff and showed to the table. Portion size was excellent had a sharing started and BBQ chicken lasagna and didn't have any room for desert. The price of food was spot on for portion size and quality. Would recommend booking ahead as the restaurant filled...
