We stayed here in February 2013 and returned last week for a 5 night stay. Last time I wrote for this site - "Good location close to centre, but great for parking. Aberdeen in February, warm room, very friendly reception, proactive service and excellent food. We would have no hesitation in recommending this for Bed & Breakfast, great place to...

As part of my job I am required to stay away from home from time to time and have to find my own accommodation. I only get a small allowance so naturally I try to find the cheapest accommodation possible. This was the case for the Arkaig guest however the low cost was reflected in the standard of everything about...

I am amazed with this guest house. It's on the George road, a 15 mins walk from the centre. Both sides of the street lots of eateries and other shops. I went for a training in the North East Scotland College which is also 10 mins pleasure walk from Arkaig .If you have more than one big piece of luggage...

I stayed in Arkaig with a couple of friends over the weekend. Despite being next to a main road we found the house to be quiet and peaceful so we had no trouble sleeping. Our rooms and the place in general was very clean. The location was perfect for us as it's just a stone's throw away from the university...

Arkaig is situated very conveniently with a bus stop to the airport right at their doorstep, making it an ideal accomodation to explore Aberdeen from. It is close to both the university and city centre, with cosy rooms to spend the night and excellent service that catered to our every need.

I've been a guest at Arkaig Guest House Aberdeen for 5 nights in November, on the occasion of the graduation ceremony of my daughter. I liked everything there: the impeccably clean and comfortable front room which had a nice view and also kept me connected to the life of the city, the delicious breakfast, the position within the city, and...

Went there with two friends as we required a room with three single beds. This room was at the front of the guest house. It was warm and comfortable although the ensuite was small, but, with the window open for necessary ventilation, the traffic noise was very loud and continued all night. Hosts were excellent and there was a nice...

We have stayed at the Arkaig many times now and thought it about time we left a review. Our recent three day midweek stay was great and went without a hitch, our Hosts Charlie and Evelyn were as attentive and welcoming as they have been on all previous visits. Evelyn's breakfasts are top notch. Our double room was very clean...

Solid 3 star. Aberdeen is expensive and short on quality B&Bs. Arkaig is pleasant and quite well situated between the University and the City centre with plenty of CCTV supervised on-street parking (it's a converted sidewalk they own, free). Very nice hosts who serve up a good breakfast. Rooms are functional rather than pretty: clean, well insulated and the heating...

I had a very comfortable stay at this guest house. The room was spotless, breakfast was great and a good selection on offer. Evelyn and Charlie the owners were very welcoming I felt at home! I would highly recommend this b+b.
