I hadn't realised the inflated hotel prices in Aberdeen when I quoted an all-inclusive rate for some work, so finding the Arkaig enabled me to earn something, and perform my work ona good night's sleep. My room was at the back on the ground floor. It was small with limited natural light, but with everything I needed, and a considerably...

I recently put my mum and my gran up here during a visit to Aberdeen. Having turned up late to check in I was very happy to be greeted by the understanding owner who was more than happy to fit our needs. They were happy with their rooms, their bathrooms and their cooked breakfast in the morning. Their only complaint...

Lovely couple. They try hard. Great breakfast. It is a dependable 3 star B&B. Friendly feel. Well insulated (so the busy street at the front is not a bother unless you are a very, very light sleeper). Warm but the heating comes on a bit late in the morning. Mattress has seen better days. Bathroom clean and works but a...

This is a perfect Guest House to stay for business or pleasure. The Arkaig is well appointed and efficiently run. Breakfast is very enjoyable and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Ample parking is also a great help. Mr & Mrs Gibson Edinburgh

The couple that runs this bed and breakfast is super friendly and accommodating. They ensure that dietary needs are met for breakfasts and serve up delicious, cooked-to-order full Scottish breakfasts (eggs, meat or veggie sausage, hashbrown, beans, tomato, toast with jam, tea or coffee) and you can take what you want from the ample continental breakfast offerings. They are keen...

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The gave us directions to a nearby hike that was amazing. The room itself wasn’t anything fancy and the "living room" area felt much more like a doctors waiting office. It was about a 20 min walk into the main road of Aberdeen. They do have plenty of parking, which was very helpful....

We spent a week camping in the Highlands and stopped afterwards for two days in Aberdeen enjoying some comfortable beds and hospitality. We arrived by taking the bus from the central bus station. We had a really warm welcome and were shown to our room containing three single beds on the second floor. The beds were really comfy and the...

Good location close to centre, but great for parking. Aberdeen in February, warm room, very friendly reception, proactive service and excellent food. We would have no hesitation in recommending this for Bed & Breakfast, great place to stay.

Stayed for 14 days and cannot recall any difficulty or inconvenience experienced. Very quite place. Just as it should be. Rooms were really clean. I mean really clean. Cleaned daily. Shower / toilet area is modern and clean. Good quality shower amenities were provided. Did not see anything broke or loose in a room. Very good breakfast with variable choice....

I stayed here for app12 days (originally booked in for 10 days, but were very accomodating with the longer stay and didn't make me feel that i had to pack up and go) due to my father having to go into Aberdeen hospital for a serious operation. My dad stayed here too the night before his admission and the night...
