I have stayed on and off in hotels and BnB's in Aberdeen for a while and this hotel offers a friendly environment, fresh linen on request even though rooms are cleaned and bedspreads are changed very regularly. Offering great service plus the option use the lounge at your leisure day and night, as well as the kitchen ( including use...

We booked 2 rooms, neither of the rooms had heaters. The rooms were provided with portable heaters, which gave no heat at all. We shivered almost all night. At first glance the rooms looks spacious and nice, but the furniture and bed linen are extremely worn, torn and stained. The whole place had a smoky smell to it, despite being...

I must admit I couldn't bring myself to actually stay here. I had pre-booked a room but when I arrived the man there said he hadn't prepared the room as he had lost the keys, I followed him into the kitchen as he looked and was deeply shocked at the state of it, the greasy grime and heaps of stuff....

I thought it was my duty as a regular at this hotel to set the record straight, As far as i'm aware the property over the last 20 years hasn't had any sort of...

this place is awful.it is rundown, smelly, dirty and should be avoided at all costs. My room was on the ground floor with a big sash window which had no catch to keep it closed. the carpet was filthy, the main light did not work. the radiator had no control and there was a fan heater which I would not go...

I felt I had to contribute to this website having read the reviews placed by previous residents. I found my recent stay at the Colwyn to be particularly pleasant, the room catering for my limited needs and the staff more than helpful. The hotel is in central Aberdeen yet noise levels were minimal, ensuring I awoke from my restful slumber...
