It's hard to find a hotel that is suitable for a wheelchair user, but this one had all we needed. Roll in shower, grab rails and parking. Staff were helpful and friendly and it's situated near many good restaurants. My only observation is to use a car or taxi for getting about with a wheelchair as some areas are quite...

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst delivering training in the in-house meeting room. Normally stay at the otter Hotel at the AECC so this was the first time here. Rooms are everything expected from HIex and I have to say very clean. Walk in shower no bath but that's fine with me. After reading another review I made sure I...

We're hopeful of a full refurbishment in the near future and, with a bit of luck, it may well include air conditioning in the bedrooms. Hope to see you back again soon. Nice clean central hotel. Staff were really friendly. Quite at night.. Could not get into the carpark at the hotel, but it was not expensive to park the car at multi story car park just down the street. Great hotel for a night out. 10/10

The hotel is situated just off the main Union Street. Check in was swift with a really helpful receptionist. There is no restaurant onsite but there are plenty within easy walking distance. The room was typical fair. Clean and well presented. Free wifi too. Breakfast was fine and checkout was equally pleasant. I would book again.

Another City, another HI Express. As usual, immaculate room, comfy bed, nice shower, fast free (and hassle-free to log in) wi-fi, and a great all-you-need breakfast too. This is a City Centre location, so parking is a pain. If you're very lucky, you might get one of the 10 spaces in their own car park, but more than likely, you...

Do not book a front of hotel room, couldn't get slept all night due to the noise of people out and about and going to the bakers right across the road, could hear everything outside. Terrible.good location buts that's about it.

Many thanks for your feedback Angela D, apologies that you found it a little noisy. Our location in the heart of the city is, without doubt, one of the hotel's greatest assets. Unfortunately though, this does go hand in hand with the fact that the streets can become rather lively, particularly at weekends. The installation of sound-proof triple glazing is...
