Chose this hotel for its location next to shopping centres and restaurants etc. Best part is view of harbour and boats from bedroom and funky wine bar. For the price this really is excellent value. The night we stayed there as a really good band on. Brilliant staff nothing too much trouble. Rhona and John deserve special mention. If you...

Stayed here to save commuting home after a works Christmas party. On checking I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who directed me to my room which, although may not have been extravagantly decorated, was clean, tidy and perfectly serviceable bearing in mind the £35 price I had paid. After coming back from my party I was hoping for a...

I stayed here with work for one night & it has potential to be a really good hotel but not quite there yet. I arrived to be greeted by a really lovely receptionist, who was very helpful and everything you would want in a decent hotel. The first impression is that they are going for a 1930/40s vibe and it...

A short break in Aberdeen staying in this ideally situated hotel a stones throw from the bus and railway stations. Because it is a listed building there is no lift but the rooms are very comfortable. We had a meal on the first night in the hotel and the steaks we had were excellent.

Sorry for late review but better late than never. My partner and I chose to go to this restaurant on a Saturday night with our discount voucher. This entitled you to a starter and main course for 2. The starters were delish and a good size as well as tasty and so was our main meals. We both decided no...

I don't even know where to start, on first arrival it was very confusing as to where the actual entrance for the hotel was. Turned out to be the entrance for the bar/restaurant which you had to walk through to gain access to the stairs, which would be very awkward if there was to have been anyone dining there as...

Hotel very well placed opposite the train station. Well priced and food very good I would recommend the breakfast. Rooms quite basic but for a Base, clean, tidy and convenient. Not advisable for disabled as there is no lift to my knowledge.

I use this hotel prior to travellers offshore. It is good value and near the railway and bus stations. The hotel rooms are clean and the staff friendly. It is also across the road from Union Square for anyone wanting to go shopping.

This hotel is very close to union square and very well located to the city. The staff are very helpful and the hotel was clean and nice. The room itself was a little small and I could hear traffic most of the night. I would only recommend this hotel if you were staying for only the one night any more...
