Visiting relatives in Arbroath we were delighted to have found this beautiful guest house. The house is very tastefully decorated throughout and Peter made us feel right at home straightaway. We stayed in a lovely suite with it's own kitchen and bathroom containing everything you would need for your stay be it short or long. The full Scottish breakfast was cooked to perfection with toasted homemade bread and served by Peter himself who couldn't do enough for us. It was only an overnight stay this time but with the 700th Anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath next year we will be ensuring that we can book for a longer stay then.

Another happily satisfying stay at a first class retreat with the warmest of welcomes from hosts Brenda & Peter. The annual visit to nearby relatives in Arbroath would not be complete without this stay in serene surroundings and immaculate house. The top-notch breakfast of fresh local produce cooked to order from Peter is a feel-good story of it's own. A perfect rousing start to travelling out. Luxurious and cosy bedrooms plus a shared impressive log-fired cavernous lounge almost tempt a day in rather than out. Having visited the Angus and Arbroath area regularly over the past ten years, this is the must-see/stay place for a small piece of luxury on the road.
