We had a wonderful stay at the Willowbank House B&B. Upon our arrival we were asked if we would like some tea and biscuits. The owner helped us carry in our luggage and made a dinner reservation at a local restaurant. Our room was nicely decorated and spacious. The shower in our room was large and a pleasure to use.... I had travelled a long distance for a 2 night stay helping family to move into the area. Willowbank was the perfect place to recharge my batteries each night. Peter was a wonderful host who made sure I was comfortable and had all I needed and was very knowledgeable about the area. The property is a wonderful house in a... More

Peter met us at the door of the B&B. He was professional and all business. My first reaction was that this guy might be hard to deal with. Nothing was further from the truth. He was quite an amazing guy and he ran a top notch B&B. Our room was fabulously clean and comfortable. WiFi signal was strong. He brought... More

Very friendly owner, lovely rooms, and amazing breakfast! Situated 5 minutes from Arbroath and 20 minutes from Montrose, the house is set amidst beautiful and peaceful gardens and countryside. Although I was only here 1 night, I'd highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Loved staying here , the owners couldn't have been nicer , even allowing us to use living room area , overlooking gardens and providing us with wine glasses and a corkscrew , the room was excellent and luxurious, the breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented and left us ready to start the day, these owners go the extra mile to... Had a lovely overnight stay here in the Deluxe King Suite. The room was lovely, very comfortable heated bed, lovely couch and patio doors opening out onto their substantial garden. The power shower was amazing and the kitchen had everything you needed. The breakfast was delicious and we had a great view from the breakfast table. Peter and Brenda were... More

Peter and Brenda are the perfect hosts, and made us feel extremely welcome. the double room was very comfortable; an added bonus was the guest lounge, where the perfect hosts offered us tea as we relaxed on the sunday morning. The home cinema was an amazing experience; watching "Interstellar", we felt that the whole house was going to take off!... More

Peter is lovely, unobtrusive unless you don't want him to be. We had some really interesting, fun conversations with him. He makes the place, but even without him it would still be a lovely place to stay, beautifully finished and furnished and so comfortable. We had a great cinema night and as for breakfast.... Can really recommend the Arbroath Smokie,... More

We arrived and were greeted by Peter the owner. He is a very pleasant, knowledgeable and hardworking fellow. He recommended a local restaurant which was very good and felt like a welcomed guest. He even called ahead and made sure they had room. Property and rooms were very clean and well maintained. One of the best showers I had during... More

Very rarely do I give a five but this B&B surely deserves a 10. Peter and Brenda have created the perfect hideaway up here in Angus. I write this whilst watching Revenant on Peter's home cinema in the resident's luxurious sitting room. We are lucky enough to be staying in the guest suite which is more than that. Hidden behind...
