We have stayed in this hotel twice. When we visit Scanstone a business in the vicinity they always book us into this hotel. On arrival the staff are always friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is tea and coffee facilities in the room with lovely shortbread biscuits. They provide a electric heater in case...

Was booked in here by my company for one night, was a tad worried as I am normally booked in to chains, not that i book these when i go on holiday, but on business they are "safe" bets, also the fact it used the phrase "boutique hotel" mmakes you think small room etc. Well im glad to report that...

Bill and I booked this hotel for our wedding reception 12th September 2015. Susan and her staff pulled out all the stops for us. Tables beautifully decorated and the food was excellent. Every single one of our guests enjoyed the food. We were 39 in total which was just over the limit but Susan worked wonders with the available space....

Stayed here at the end of last week. All in all a nice hotel with good food. I was in room 2, which to gain access to, you need to go through another door, not leaving a great deal of room, especially when carrying bags. The staff were friendly and attentive, with the hotel being clean and tidy. The shower...

Can't fault this place at all! Something for everyone in the evening menu. Staff pleasant and attentive. We stayed in room 3 which was lovely. Large room with an equally large bathroom! Good range of food on offer at breakfast. Would definitely recommend!

The staff were charming and helpful, it was easy to find and park, the evening meal was good although the menu was fairly limited. I was staying 1 night with an evening meal and was well looked after. The room was nice, fairly large with high ceilings and well appointed with a lovely big bath and good shower. Breakfast was...

Booked to stay here for 2 nights with family whilst attending a wedding at Guthrie Castle. The hotel was recommended by the brides parents and I must say it was a great choice. We had a twin room at the back of the property which was nice and quiet with lovely views up to the hills. The room was very...

Lovely room, lovely waitress/receptionist. But room 3 odd. You entered thro a door which didn't lock. Then on your left was your bathroom which locked and straight ahead was the bedroom which did lock. I felt uneasy in room and did not sleep at all well despite putting a chair under door knob. Room itself was lovely, large and modern,...

I took my niece and her husband to Chapelbank for tea one evening. On getting there we stood for a few minutes at the bar/dining room and no one appeared. There were a couple gentlemen sitting and they noticed us waiting. It turned out one was the owner he shouted through to the kitchen and we were then attended to....

Beautiful large room with high quality furnishings and bedding as were toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked. Food of a very high standard with a good choice of cereal, fresh fruit and juice. Arbroath smokies were delicious. Positioned right on main street with plenty of shopping nearby Would definitely recommend .
