Had a lovely stay at this quiet bed and breakfast, located about 12 miles away from Oban, on Appin peninsula. I found this accomodation by accident, I was searching for a mountain leader for a guided walk on Glencoe - and both Les and Issy are qualified guides. I booked for a walk and had a lovely day with Les...

I've been remiss in not submitting this review until now. This is an oversight I have to remedy. Crucachan B&B is one lovely little gem of a B&B in the nicest, most peaceful, most idyllic Scottish loch setting you could imagine. Set down the end of a long undulating wooded lane there is next to no traffic and you can...

We at Cruachan B&B for 3 nights in the summer and it was wonderful. This part of the west coast is stunning and Cruachan is perfectly placed to enjoy all that splendour; it is so wonderfully peaceful and quiet - there aren't many places in the UK where you can't hear a car! Les and Issy (and Benny the dog!)...

Stunning place. Les and Issy were extremely friendly and helpful, without being intrusive - they could not have been more kind. Thankyou. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bedroom and excellent breakfast. Could not recommend more highly. John and Vari Drabble Dumfriesshire.

We highly recommend this B & B. The accomodation, hospitality and breakfasts are as good as any 5 star hotels. The location is beautiful and we especially enjoyed our trip to the Isle of Lismore. Les & Issy made us feel extremely welcome and we could not ask for more.

We arrived amidst a huge storm where a fallen tree blocked our road. When we phoned Issy, instant help, she sent a neighbour to bring all equipment and the tree was disposed of and we drove the last half mile. Cruachan is beautiful, the whole house is comfortable, an unbelievable standard of cleanliness, furniture, food, and friendliness. Nothing is too much trouble...

We stayed there 3 nights and can`t say anything bas about place, hosts or service. The room we had (ERISKA) was good size, clean and with beautiful view. The breakfast was very delicious, nicely served, good portion. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, we just felt at home, definitely we would like to come back!
