What a lovely place the Craigard Hotel is. Just driving along and looking up to it, it's impressive. We were in room 7 which I think was called Sanda. Beautiful big double room, large bay window looking out over the loch. I loved the bathroom which had a huge bath and a great separate shower cubicle. The owners are really...

Spent two nights in the hotel whilst exploring family ancestry. The room we stayed in was a good size and had a large bathroom. The owners and staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent. The evening dinner was superb and although the menu was generally fish and seafood based there were lots of other excellent...

The food at this hotel is superb!! I tried the loch fyne scallops for starter and halibut for a main. Sensational! The breakfast was first class also. Book in advance as rooms go very quickly. I had the last room which was a single. The room was a little small for my liking and the bathroom fan was a bit...

Although a bit 'tired' in terms of decoration and furnishing, it is very clean and impressive looking from the loch side. Good breakfasts with plenty of choices. Evening meals are good too with an impressive selection of whiskies. It is further to walk into the town than we'd expected though, not so great when the rain is lashing down too.

Stayed for 2 nights on business. Room was clean and bright and the bed was especially comfy. Bedlinen had a lovely fresh smell even on the second night. Shower lacked some power but the water was nice and hot. Good hairdryer although the plug locations don't match mirror locations. I liked the touch of the wee dish with cotton wool...

I stayed at this hotel for business. It is difficult to find a good B&B in Campbeltown (speaking from past experiences!), but this place is probably one of the best in Campbeltown (unless you want to pay a lot more money). The location of the hotel is beautiful, right on the loch, try and get a loch view room if...

I had a lovely one night stay last week, a warm reception to a lonely traveller. Excellent menu with local beers available. A fellow diner was in ecstasy over his seafood dish, my fish dish was only superb. Highly recommended,
