Lovely hotel. Lovely staff, BUT,due to staff shortages, rooms are not serviced during your stay. We stayed for 5 nights, at a cost of nearly £1,500 and had to suffer the indignity of having to ask at reception for toilet rolls, fresh towels and for our bins to be emptied. It also meant that our bathroom was not cleaned and the carpet not vacuumed throughout our stay.If they are that short of staff, then maybe they should not let all the rooms, or, reduce the price of said rooms! It would be helpful if the management would respond to reviews.

Family of three. Two rooms. Upgraded. Make sure to get a harbour view. Expected the huge windows to be lashed with rain, instead marvellous sunsets and swirling foggy mornings. Lovely and helpful staff. Good breakfasts- ask for you want on top of what it says on the menu card. Excellent bar- closes 10 30 and not loud or busy. Mesi style restaurant was unavoidable on the first evening. Allright but not what we wanted. Food places close early in Oban and you must book!

We stayed two nights in this hotel and only wish we could have stayed longer. The welcome from Claire at reception was extremely professional, she was very knowledgeable about the local area. Our room was beautiful, we had a view over the bay. The restaurant served middle eastern food which we both enjoyed tremendously, the waiter was very helpful in helping us decide. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and served to our table, no running around a buffet! All the staff were extremely professional. We will definitely stay here again only for longer next time.

Just stayed here for one night and felt disappointed with all of my stay. Started of no parking near hotel and told to park at train station. Guy said at train station that he was fed up with hotel using it as their car park. Room was sub standard for the price of £250 per night location was good as it’s centre of town. Staff were a little aloof and not asked how our stay was. Such a shame as we had high hopes for the hotel

We stayed here for the weekend just there and it was lovely. We had a nice corner room with amazing views of the seas front, ask for room 108. The room is decorated very modern and has a everything you need. It is located right across from the train station. The staff are lovely and check in was a breeze. I forgot the name of the woman who checked us in but she was lovely and a credit to the hotel. The had dinner on night in the restaurant and it was lovely and great prices, I thought the bill would of been much more than what it was. The bar staff are lovely as well. We got cocktails in the lounge and it’s decorated lovely especially at night. I would say it is over priced for what we paid we got a standard room. If you are visiting for a special occasion then book but other wise I would stay at the premier inn next time I go
