The drive to Oban is spectacular and the town has some great walks. Invercloy is a really lovely traditional house with beautiful views over the small township and it’s just a few minutes stroll down to the centre. The up-side is that you are in a very quite position but so close to everything. Much better than being on the...

This small bed and breakfast is quite far from the city Center (100 stairs to climb) but is it definitely worth the trial! Fiona is very welcoming and friendly. The rooms have excellent beds and the view from room number 4 is simply stunning! Do not hesitate!

We spent only one night in this very nice guest house but we enjoyed our staying a lot. It is located on the hill just behind Oban and it has a very great view of the city and the harbour. The centre is easily reachable with a 5 mins walking and if you walk 2 minutes up hill you can...

Invercloy is perched up the hill above Oban Harbor, offering a gorgeous view of the Harbor from the front windows and of McCaig's tower out back. The rooms are crisp and comfortable; ours had a private bathroom that was modern and clean, and our host Fiona could not have been more welcoming, even making dinner reservations for us late arrivals....

Comfortable en suite room (number 2) with fantastic views over the town of Oban and its harbour. Friendly and helpful land lady but no breakfast offered which is a shame. However there is tea, real coffee and biscuits provided in the room. Access to the town centre, which is close by, is either down Jacob's Ladder, about 140 steps; or...

We stayed at the Invercloy Guesthouse for 2 nights during a recent trip around the UK and thought our stay was ok, though we wouldn't stay there again. The good things: *Very close to town, within easy reach of the waterfront, restaurants, pubs, the ferry terminal, the bus station and the train station. *Great views over Oban harbour. *Lovely owner...

We booked a double and a single for one night for the recent Skerryvore Decade event . We arrived to a very warm welcome and our rooms were ready even although we were very early . Rooms were clean and bright with a beautiful view out across the water . Wanted to take the bed home with me as it...

We stayed in this guesthouse for two nights and enjoyed the wonderful view of the harbour from our upstairs bedroom. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Many bars and shops are in short walking distance. Be aware that the Guesthouse is located up the hill!

We stayed here one night, and although the view was beautiful it was the only thing this place had going for it. Firstly, our host barely greeted us when we came in. I have stayed at many B and Bs and the appeal of a B and B is to be warmly welcomed. Usually a tour is given and a...

I am very sorry you feel so disappointed by your visit to Invercloy Guest House , I also apologise for the lack of a warm welcome. You are quite right , the room had been overlooked and we did offer you an upgraded room immediately available , upstairs and next to the shower and toilet , but you declined. Apologising...

Thanks to the owner for a welcoming stay. We had the budget room so can't expect miracles however a shared bathroom is not ideal and to say it's small is an understatement. You get what you pay for though and it's hard to fault the place otherwise. Great wifi!!
