The hotel was decorated to a nice finish and was a very welcoming atmosphere, the lounge area had a log fired stove which made it very pleasant. Check in was very easy and the room was of a good size and decorated nicely, shower was amazing but had no bath. Enough glazing that drowns all street noise out which was great, this coupled with the comfy bed meant a solid nights sleep. Only downfall was the glazing had mould around the frame from all the condensation.

Absolutely fantastic. The room was spotless and very comfortable as was the rest of the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was very tasty perfectly cooked and there was more then enough with as much tea and toast as you wanted. Thank you to you all, we will be back.

We really enjoyed our 2night stay at The Scot. The hotel was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and good breakfast. Reception staff were very helpful and professional. Restaurant staff were efficient and pleasant and their attention to maintaining good co vid hygiene procedures excellent.

An amazing stay at The Scot, the location is fabulous with good parking at the rear of the building, everything is walking distance so we were happy to park up the car for our full visit. All the staff are lovely and very knowledgeable about the area but Lisa, the manager, in particular deserves a special mention, she is fab! Our room was lovely with the most comfortable superking bed, nice bathroom and toiletries, as well as complimentary bottled water, hot drinks and tunnocks teacakes! Breakfast was absolutely delicious also! And such a fantastic rate, will definitely come back again.
