The Manor House was built in 1780 as the Duke of Argyll's Oban estate. Great consideration has been given to preserve the elegance, charm and atmosphere of its past. There are eleven tastefully decorated bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. Informal lunches are served in the Bar and lovely Drawing Room which, like the beautifully restored Dining Room, have magnificent views over Oban Bay, the adjacent islands, the mountains of Morvern and Isle of Mull.

We went for a meal on Saturday 12th January, and it was great. First class dining experience and we'll looked after by the waiter. Nice view of Oban bay. Will return. Thanking Eric at Glencruitten Golf Club for his recomendation.

Just a 1 night stop here but a lovely one all the same. It's like taking a step back in time in terms of decor & furnishings but fortunately the service level is also akin to that of a bygone era. A very warm welcome...More

No but it is only a five minute walk. If you are arriving at the train station with a bag, there will be cabs available.
