Fantastic stay with lovely comfy room decorated to very high standards and great bathroom with hot power shower. Staff professional and helpful at all times. The views from the terrace were amazing and we had our breakfast and evening meal there most nights. The quality of the food was excellent although typically restaurant prices as were evening drinks but it was worth every penny for a bit of luxury. Dogs are welcomed and the staff were great at making ours feel wanted .Excellent location and easy walk into Oban . Parking at the back of the hotel so make sure you remember everything you need out of your car

I was very disappointed with this hotel. It was a great location but very dated. Our room was tiny and the heating didn't work. The door handle fell off in the bathroom and the shower was rubbish. The restaurant was good and served good food with an excellent Manager. We stayed in 18 hotels on our trip in Scotland, this was the most expensive and the worst!!

We chose to stay here as it looked liked the nicest hotel in Oban. The photos are very deceiving.. the photos look great online, but it doesnt even show half of how the hotel really looks. The first room they gave us smelled as if the room was a smoking room, the second room they had given us was a bit smaller, but smelled a bit better than the other. But never the less, still grotty. It wasnt the most comfortable night I had. The hallways also smelled very dull. I will not visit this hotel again, definitely not worth the £160 p/n rate!! Shame really. I was so uncomfortable, we cancelled the second night, and went straight onto our next location. I hope this hotel has the renovation it really needs, or atleast show their true pictures online.
