On arrival we were greated by Gary who looked after us perfectly during our one night stay. The room was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was marvellous and the hotel has an excellent location in Oban. We hope to visit again!

My family and I spent only one night at this B&B. After a very long day of traveling we were greeted by Gary who was warm, delightful and very helpful. We stayed in two rooms, each with a view of the Oban harbor. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. We were served a delicious breakfast in the morning. Couldn't...

Oban was my first night on a five day trip to travel on the Highland railway lines. I dislike arriving late in a town and having to find a room; it's often a sure recipe for disaster. Trusting over 100 reviews on TripAdvisor for The Heatherfield, I made it my choice. I wasn't disappointed. Gary gave me a very warm...

We stayed here in April for my 40th Birthday and loved every minute of it. The house is beautiful the decor is stunning and the breakfast was one of the best I have had. I don't like a full Scottish too often but this one was one of the best. We also loved the fact that there was local cheeses...

We stayed at Heatherfield House for only two nights but wished we had booked for longer! We arrived early and asked if we could leave our car on the car park whilst we walked into town but Gary welcomed us and let us check in right away. Our room (Room 1) was huge and beautifully decorated and furnished and the...

We have just spent the bank holiday weekend staying at this guest house. The room we had was absolutely fabulous with a large comfy bed. If you want a taste of luxury try room 1. The hosts Gary and Sue were very friendly and made us feel welcome in their beautiful house. The breakfasts were also excellent. Even though it...

I've no hesitation in recommending Heatherfield House. Gary and Sue are perfect hosts - they are welcoming, our room was spotless and large, and breakfasts generous and excellent quality. A typical touch and a nice surprise was the bottle of wine that appeared, chilled, unannounced to help us celebrate a family event during our stay. Thanks Gary!

We stayed at Heatherfield House on the last night of our tour of Scotland, and we loved this beautiful 1875 house very tastefully renewed and decorated. Gary welcame us warmly when we arrived and told us the house's story while leading us to our room. Sue has lots of talent to add little details that make the difference. Our room...

Stayed here last week as part of a tour of Scotland and it is a great B&B. Gary, the owner, greeted us in the driveway before showing us to our lovely room. The house is within 2 minutes walking distance of Oban town centre but still has the feeling of being away from it all. Breakfast the following morning was...
