A colleague booked the hotel for me so I had no idea what to expect when we turned up. I have to be honest, when we pulled up outside it did look a bit like fawlty towers as it's a very large, grand, old house. However, my first impressions were so wrong. We went in and the staff that greeted...

My husband and me spend 4 nights from 30th of December 2016 to 3rd of January 2017 in Mansfield House Hotel. The hotel is lovely decorated and so are the rooms. We stayed in one of the superior rooms (the room with the 4 poster bed) and it was beautiful. Wonderful interior, comfy bed and everything was spotlessly clean. Lynn,...

Plenty of choice of freshly cooked breakfast along with some cold buffet items. Great service and...

It had been just over a year since I stayed at this hotel, as I normally stay in the Elm House Hotel, also owned by Lynne & Stephen. They have done a fantastic job since taking over the Mansfield house, the overall feel and decor are much improved, with the bar and lounge area much more cosy. My favourite thing...

Stayed here last week and found it to be a very large Victorian house in huge grounds in which you can take a good walk. The rooms were very well appointed, good enough for a 4* hotel, the have all you need. Rooms have a lovely view over the hills (and rugby lovers, Mansfield Park). The highest point is the...
