We visited on Sunday see as it was a nice afternoon we figured we could sit on the lawn, after sitting for a while we then went I to reception to order , however no afternoon tea left so we asked if we could have sandwiches perhaps cheese/chicken and ham so I went back out to the garden to wait...

We stayed the one night in this beautiful, quirky house. It's set in it's own grounds with pleasant walks and a kitchen garden. The rooms are amazing. A great deal of thought and effort has gone in to making this hotel such a lovely place to stay. The food was excellent, with canapes served in the sitting room before going...

We were here to celebrate a significant milestone event. Jeremy Roche and his staff did as much and more to make our stay memorable including an upgrade from Jnr Suite to the full Selkirk suite. Special floral arrangement at dinner and a very warm welcome every day. Book the junior suite especially the turret rooms or the full suite. Worth...

We were given the opportunity to have lunch on a 1 for 1 offer and jumped at the chance, knowing from past experience just how good the chef is here. Although termed a bar lunch, we ate in the beautiful dining room upstairs and enjoyed a wonderful three course meal, each course delightfully presented. The food was of the highest...

I stayed here many years ago with my parents and loved it. The occasion of our visit this time was a quiet dinner for two to celebrate my husband's birthday. Booking the table by telephone, I found the staff helpful. The surroundings on a Summer evening were idyllic. We were welcomed with genuine warmth by several staff and, I suspect,...

My mum and I visted here for lunch with a deal that I got on 5pm deal. The value of deal was good. When we arrived we were welcomed then shown upstairs to the bar area. The waitress just looked at us with an expression of what are you here for. We were shown to a table which had a...

Stayed recently in a junior suite. Bit of a misnomer as really just a largish room with two electric recliner chairs. For the price, which came to over £450 for a night with the tasting menu, I would expect better. Two normal size glasses of wine were charged at £9 each. There was no coffee or petit fours after the...
