Welcome to the Heatherlie House Hotel, located in the picturesque town of Selkirk in the heart of the beautiful Scottish Borders. Located in an elegant Victorian mansion and set within 2 acres of beautiful, wooded grounds. We are perfectly located for some of the best fishing and golfing in Scotland. Boasting an impressive 21 golf courses within just half an hours drive and being only a stones throw away from the River Ettrick with its fantastic Salmon and Rainbow Trout fishing. Selkirk is also a prominent stop on the famous Abbey Way that takes walkers on a tour of the famous Abbeys of the Scottish Borders. All of our rooms are spacious and comfortably decorated and come with all the conveniences you would expect from a Country Hotel. All but one of our rooms are en-suite and we do have a separate bathroom with a bath, which is ideal for golfers/walkers who have had a hard day on the hills.The Scottish Borders contains some amazing produce and we consider ourselves lucky to have it all on our doorsteps! From the beautiful succulent Beef and Lamb, to the amazing Fresh fish from Eyemouth, we do our best to ensure the real quality of these ingredients shines through.Our hand- picked wine list compliments our menu perfectly, along with an ever changing selection of some of the best Scottish Ales and Malt Whiskies.

Great welcome and with beautiful gardens. Very good breakfast. Staff a joy to meet with and we were made to feel very welcome. An older building, the on-suite bathroom was tiny, however a good night's sleep was had.

We stayed on our way to a dog show in Kelso and booked this as it said dogs were allowed and the car park was on site! Not only were the dogs allowed they were welcomed in the grounds and in the hotel! Nothing was...More

We stayed one night and had a great time. We were greeted with efficiency and enthusiasm. The accommodation was very comfortable, the food good and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, helpful and fun. We would happily recommend a visit.
