This old converted house is a great place to stay with great hosts. We were welcomed and shown to our room with had a great view over the garden. We ate in the restaurant and the bar attendant and cook went out of their way to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The room was comfortable although the ensuite...

I used to stay here regularly about 20 years ago. The hotel has changed hands several times since then but the welcome is still as warm as ever. I was in Selkirk on business for two nights and thought I'd see what it's like now. The rooms are spacious and comfy and the location is very quiet. You can't fail...

Stayed at the heatherlie house hotel for a night and have to say it was absolutely lovely only wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were fantastic and so friendly and we had an amazing stay we will Definately be going back We had Sunday lunch and a breakfast during our stay and the quality was first class

We enjoyed our stay at Heatherlea House Hotel. We received a very friendly welcome on arrival. We enjoyed our evening meal. You will tind that there is a good menu choice for evening meals. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, warm and quiet. The breakfast is great with a choice of juice and cereal and a full cooked Scottish breakfast....

We stayed one night and the owner was very welcoming. We had our dog with us and we're pleased to find excellent walks near by. Our room was very comfortable although the ensuite was very small. We ate at the hotel and had an excellent homemade steak and ale pie. Plenty of car parking space. We would not hesitate to...

My wife and i were originally going to stay 2 nights but ended up staying one more as we were enjoying the place so much. the staff couldn't do enough for us and nothing was a problem. the room was great and so was the food breakfast was superb and we had dinner here 2 nights and it didn't disappoint....

Excellent freshly cooked breakfast , the owner made us feel very welcome. We would use this hotel again a bit old fashioned but this is part of its charm. We would use this hotel again it is well placed to see the Borders .

Stayed for 2 nights over New year with a party of 8. Had a great time and made to feel very welcome by the hosts Simon and Sharon. All the guests were great company and had a really good time. Breakfast was ideal with just the right amount with plenty to choose from. Filter coffee is always nice to have....

We had lovely evening meal in the bar before heading up to the room to get changed for the evening. The New Years celebrations where fantastic with pipers, live band, music, fireworks and don't forget the highland dancing dance off!!!! Went down for a late breakfast which was fantastic.
